Principal (Head of School) for a K-12 International School in Newtown Kolkata, (Academic year commences form April 2023)

Role:

This senior leadership position oversees the planning, launch, and development of an outstanding International school. 

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Principal will be an integral leader

in the overall development of the school, working closely with leaders across all functions and will be responsible for and oversee all elements of the programs, policies, and procedures which impact the effective delivery of teaching and learning, as well as programs beyond the classroom.

Candidate profile:

• Previous experience as Principal/Head of a IGCSE/IB School; proven leadership abilities; evidence of pedagogical leadership; highly effective communicator, problem solver, and decision maker; demonstrable passion and commitment to a child’s education beyond the classroom.
• The candidate must have a minimum bachelor’s degree from a reputable university. A master’s degree in Educational Leadership would be an advantage, with a minimum of 10 years’ relevant working experience, in an international education environment.
• The experience at a similar level of leadership, in a leading K-12 International school, will be very relevant.

Salary and Benefits:

 The salary and benefits package will be in line with those offered as standard in similar K12 International Schools.

The final terms will reflect the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate and be subject to individual negotiation.
